about

The first reel is a tune Kevin found in the John Stickle collection made by Pat Shuldham-Shaw in the 40's and published by the English Folk Dance and Song Society.
John Stickle was the grandson of of Friedemann Stickle and was also a highly regarded fiddler.
Sillocks is the Shetland name for baby coalfish.
The Magic Roundabout is a very special roundabout in the town of Swindon that Kevin came across whilst on tour with The Nordic Fiddlers Bloc. It was voted the fourth scariest junction in the UK! It really has to be seen to be believed!
